Hand crafted by BRITAIN’S OLDEST DISTILLERS, Green-all’s Gin remains true
to our founder’s vision to create the first quality crafted gin.
Greenall’s The Original London Dry Gin remains unchanged from the original recipe, closely guarded by just
seven master distillers in our 250-year history. Today we continue to build on this classic, award winning recipe
as we create new and original gins, just as our founder did all those years ago.

Step 1
THE INGREDIENTS
Before the distillation begins the botanicals are added
by hand to our copper still along with a mixture of grain
neutral spirit and water sourced from the foothills of
the local Cheshire Plains. The botanicals are then rested
in the spirit and water to allow the flavours to infuse.
Step 2
THE DISTILLATION
Using steam, the liquid is heated until it vaporises,
taking all the essential oils and aromas of the botanicals.
The vapour is cooled, condensed, and collected
as a concentrated spirit.
Step 3
THE HEARTS
Only the ‘heart’ of the distillate is chosen to create our
gin. Any residual liquids (the ‘heads’ and the ‘tails’) which
are created at the start and the end of the process
are discarded.
SUGAR FREE
FLAVOURED GINS
A pioneer in flavoured gin, Greenall’s launched Wild Berry Pink Gin in 2014 followed by Blueberry Gin in 2019. Greenall’s Wild Berry Gin and Greenall’s Blueberry Gin contain zero sugar, unlike some leading flavoured gin brands which contain up to 90g of sugar per litre.
PRODUCED TO
ABSOLUTE PERFECTION
Our entire process of crafting Greenall’s Gin is overseen by our 7th Master Distiller, Joanne Moore. Joanne focuses on crafting exceptional new gins for the Greenall’ portfolio, all the while overseeing the tasting panel in charge of ensuring every batch is produced to perfection. Responsibility of the distillation process falls to Clive McGrath and Jason Prescott, who handcraft each and every batch of Greenall’s Gin.
HIGH-QUALITY BOTANICALS
Jason, our Botanical Master, oversees the team ensuring all our botanicals are of the highest quality. Jason’s responsibilities include ensuring every batch of botanicals is inspected, measured out by hand and, together with the distiller, loads the botanicals in to the copper stills still ready for each distillation.
METICULOUSLY INSPECTED
Clive, Greenall’s Distiller, is responsible for the distillation process and making
sure every batch he makes is consistent with the original recipe. Clive loads the stills,
ensures the spirit is ‘cut’ at the right point and checks every batch before passing
the final spirit to the tasting panel to check it one final time.
